THE STORY OF A YOUNG MILLIONAIRE

The Youngest Cameroonian Producer and Director Chris Darren tells us his story.

"My name is Chris Darren Blair from the northwest region of Cameroon. I am 17 years Old. I was born on the 23rd of may 2002 .
I was a young boy who was body-shamed for being so thin. My friends will even call me an HIV patient and I would cry a lot. I always had the feeling of "not belonging" as I thought life was unfair.
         Because of that I never had any focus in life there are times when my parents will ask me; "son what do you want to be in future?" and I did not know exactly what I wanted to be. I felt Unaccepted by my friends so I always saw myself like a nobody.

      One day when I was 15, A friend of mine called Beatrice invited me to her workplace.I was surprise to go there and find out that this work place of hers was an entertainment house. She was trying to convince me to act but I told her I dont want to be an actor. she told me "Chris I see acting in you". I didn't even consider what she said. Not long after that, Beatrice passed away due to depression after loosing her grandmother who raised her. Before dying, she wrote in her  dairy that she wishes I become an actor.
      I took a second thought and I went back to the entertainment house just to discover that they had transferred to Douala so I said to myself "At least you tried"
Few months later, I was moving along the road and I saw some people acting with Ghanian Actor Majid Michael. I wanted to talk with him about my desire to be an actor but I didn't get the chance. From that day, I became so determined.


     My Nigerian neighbor was looking for a young actor to do a film with her and
I told her i was interested. She was skeptical because I had never acted before and she was not sure about my performance. We did the project. I purposed in my heart to be outstanding and indeed I was. She was so amazed at my performance that she handed over her 12 year old Daughter's company to me
As a gift. I was more than shocked. Getting funds from there I open my own entertainment house "Chris Dan movie enter10ment".

 At this age, Chris has won several Awards and has organised his own award which shall be in its 2nd edition this year. The next article shall tell you some Amazing things this Young AIJAN has Achieved in his Career.

From this Young stars story, we can see that being an achiever is not just by luck but by determination and hard work. Giving out the best of yourself and maximizing every opportunity that comes your way. You never know which one is your "Once in a Lifetime opportunity".
